President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on the New Year. A congratulatory telegram was published on the official website of the leader of Abkhazia.
“Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, please accept sincere congratulations on the upcoming New Year and the bright holiday of the Nativity of Christ! The passing year was marked by the progressive development of Abkhaz-Russian relations,” the text says congratulations.
Bzhania noted that the Republic of Abkhazia and Russia signed important agreements aimed at developing and strengthening bilateral socio-economic ties. He emphasized that he highly appreciates Putin’s attentiveness to the problems and needs of Abkhazia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping previously exchanged New Year’s greetings. The President of China noted the deepening of political interaction between the countries.
