BANJARMASINPOST.CO.ID, PARINGIN – The Regional Government of Balangan Regency, through the Balangan Population and Family Planning Health Service (DKPPKB), has formed cadres in an effort to reduce the number of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).
Head of DKPPKB Balangan Muhammad Nasa’i said that currently he has cadres to eradicate mosquitoes that cause dengue fever.
“Activities from counseling to socialization have been carried out, and cadre formation is now also reaching the household level,” he said.
Nasa’i added that each house is assigned one person who is responsible for keeping the house clean from mosquito nests.
3M’s activities, namely closing water reservoirs, burying used goods and draining water reservoirs, need attention because if you only rely on fogging you will not be able to eradicate mosquito nests.
“From the cadres in each house there will be RT cadres and village cadres, so that their activities are continuously monitored,” he said.
Currently, the number of dengue fever sufferers is increasing, but there are no extraordinary cases and it is hoped that this will not happen in Balangan. (AOL)
