Lebanese Hezbollah announced on Sunday that one of its members was killed in a raid carried out by Israeli warplanes on a house in the city of Bint Jbeil, south of Lebanon.
Earlier on Saturday, Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari published a video that he said documented the targeting of “terrorist cells on Lebanese territory.”
Hagari said in his post on “X”: “The Israeli army attacked Lebanese territory since the morning hours. An Air Force fighter and plane, earlier today, attacked three terrorist cells on Lebanese territory.”
He added: “The Israeli Defense Forces attacked the operational infrastructure of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, and also attacked with artillery fire this morning several areas in Lebanese territory.”
Developments on the Lebanese Front
The Lebanon front witnessed several developments on Saturday, as Israel and Hezbollah exchanged bombardments, wounding Israeli soldiers and killing 4 Hezbollah fighters.
On Saturday, the party revealed that Israeli soldiers had been wounded after targeting the Adadhar embassy in southern Lebanon.
Alarm sirens sounded in towns in northern Israel due to suspected infiltration of drones from Lebanon, according to Israeli media.
A Sky News Arabia correspondent reported that an Israeli raid targeted the vicinity of the town of Kafr Kila in the Marjayoun District, southern Lebanon.
He pointed out that Israeli drones fired 3 missiles on the outskirts of the town of Marwahin, and Israeli artillery shelling also targeted the outskirts of the towns of Al-Jebeen and Tair Harfa in the western sector of southern Lebanon.
He continued: “An Israeli drone launched a missile towards the eastern entrance to the town of Aita al-Shaab, apparently targeting a car,” noting that “an Israeli artillery bombardment targeted the outskirts of the town of Naqoura in the western sector of southern Lebanon.”
