Celebrities don’t live in their own world as much as they might seem. At least not to the extent that everyone has everyone else’s contact details. Especially since the German media industry is completely different than in America. In the USA, celebrities are celebrated, revered and loved. In Germany you can be lucky if you know their names.
In addition, contact or communication with specific celebrities is not always easy for another celebrity to achieve. There is certainly a certain contact tension in the sense of “I know her through him” or social meetings, celebrations, etc. that celebrities organize among themselves.
But everyone still has their own circle of friends, like everyone else. So even if you’re a successful celebrity, that’s no guarantee that you’ll know everyone in the same industry.
