Do you want to change your club name in Football Ultimate Team (FUT) from EA SPORTS FC 24 at the start of the new year? We’ll explain to you how it works.
“Haaland FC” or “La Vida Loddar”: This is how you rename your club in FUT. EA SPORTS
With EA SPORTS FC 24, EA SPORTS ushered in a new era in the fall. It is the first part of the series without license and namesake FIFA. The world association and the publisher had already announced the separation last year. Of course, the Ultimate Team game mode is also on board in FC 24 – with various innovations. For example, women’s cards or the Evolutions for the first time.
With this departure into the new era of the game, some people may want to change the name of their FUT team. Or should everything be different in 2024 – including the club name? The good news: Unlike in the years before 2022, this can be done multiple times. Until FIFA 23, you were only allowed to change the team name once.
A few clicks for the goal
If you want to give your club a new name in FC 24, you can do the following. Once in the mode menu, navigate to the settings using the upper right shoulder button and confirm with “X” or “A”. There you will already see the “Rename club” tab, which you can jump to again using the top shoulder button. Once confirmed with “X” on the PlayStation or “A” on the Xbox, you can change both the entire name and the abbreviation.
As mentioned, there is no longer any limit. This means that the action can be carried out as often as desired. You even get a one-time reward for it. In the goals, which you can best access using the shortcut on the bottom left shoulder button, you will find the “Basics” area, in which there is a task package with the heading “Club Changes”. Once you have typed in the new name and sent it, you can pick up an exchangeable bronze pack. While that doesn’t sound like a particularly strong reward, you may end up drawing a player who you can further improve through evolutions.
