When You Are Old
When You Are Old
And tired
Watches and time pass slowly
Your soul is left behind and no longer runs
Meanwhile outside the window – times are spinning so fast in orbit.
When You Are Old
And tired
A garden without humus
Arid and barren in elegy
When You Are Old
And tired
And looked out the window
When it rains in some weather
Water condenses on the bias
the glass becomes opaque
It doesn’t seem clear anymore
between the piles
those lands; from anything that grows
or the living night star
in the roof of the sky above the pile of earth.
When You Are Old
And tired
The time that passes is still yours
Meanwhile, the current time changes itself
With another series face;
When You Are Old
And tired
Your smile is written with wrinkles
Wrinkles on every part of the skin.
