In Belarus on December 31 the weather is forecast to be cloudy with clearings. In the north-east of the country, icy conditions are expected on certain sections of roads, they reported BELTA at the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Pollution Control and Environmental Monitoring of the Ministry of Natural Resources.
At night, precipitation is forecast in many areas; during the day, mainly in the northeastern half, light precipitation (sleet, rain). Light fog and ice in places at night and in the morning. There is icy conditions on some sections of roads in the northeast. The western wind is moderate, gusty in some areas, at night in the Gomel region the wind will increase in places with gusts of 15-18 m/s.
The minimum air temperature at night will be minus 2 – plus 4, the maximum during the day is predicted to be from 0 to 6 degrees Celsius.
