Volunteers of Presidential Candidate Number 3 Assaulted by TNI Officers in Boyolali, Video Goes Viral

TRIBUNMURIA.COM, JAKARTA – A number of volunteers and sympathizers of presidential candidate number 3, Ganjar Pranowo, were assaulted by TNI officers in Boyolali, Saturday (30/12/2023).

The video of the abuse went viral on social media (medsos) X or Twitter, Saturday afternoon.

Some of them were uploaded by the Twitter accounts @YRadianto, @win_ardie, @YudhaShanny2, and others.

The video shows the abuse of a motorbike driver carried out by a number of people.

From the video uploaded by the X @YRadianto account, it can be seen that a number of people were initially on the side of the road.

Not long after, they approached a motorbike that was passing by.

The narrative in the video states that the victim of the abuse was a volunteer for presidential candidate pair number 03, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

At that time, the victim was said to have just returned from a campaign event in Boyolali.

The victim was then immediately intercepted by a number of people who were said to be TNI officers from Battalion 408, to be precise traffic light Sonolayu, Boyolali, Central Java.

It was also written that at that time the victim was immediately taken to the guard post.

The cause of the abuse was written because the victim was riding a motorbike with a non-standard exhaust that made a loud noise.

Regarding this, the TNI confirmed that the incident of abuse was carried out by members of the TNI.

Kapuspen TNI Brigadier General Nugraha Gumilar said the TNI member who carried out the abuse is currently being questioned at Denpom Surakarta.

“This individual is currently in the process of being investigated by the Surakarta Denpom,” said Head of the TNI Central Staff Major General Nugraha Gumilar when contacted by Tribunnews.com, Saturday (30/12/2023).
