It is not surprising that this successful and beloved model has attracted interest. But Suzuki refused this, noting that the Jimny is part of the manufacturer’s DNA, and therefore should only carry the native logo.

A company representative compared the status of the model with the Toyota Land Cruiser, on which it is also difficult to imagine other people’s logos. In addition, the refusal also affected the affordable Suzuki Swift hatchback, which Toyota also wanted to sell under its own brand.
