Mayyazhi: Mahi Sports Club’s Mayyazhi Football Tournament has started at Mahi Maidan.
Ramesh Parambath M.L. A. Inaugurated. Mahi Superintendent of Police Rajasekaran Vellat delivered the keynote speech. Jinos Basheer, chairman of the tournament committee, presided over the event.
Sevens Football Association state leader Ilayat Ashraf, Sreekumar Bhanu and KC Nikhilesh spoke. MLAs who won medals representing Puducherry state in Kalaripayat category at the National Games held in Goa. Gifts were given.
In the tournament, Abhilash FC/ Palakkad and Town Sports Club Valapatnam will meet at 7 pm on Saturday.
