Changanassery: The program officers have been strictly instructed that the National Service Scheme seven-day cohabitation camp for higher secondary children in the state should end by noon on January 1. It is the opening day of schools after the Christmas holidays. The problem is how to leave the classrooms.

Every year the camp would start on Christmas Eve and end on the 31st. This time the camp started on 26th due to protests. The camp is scheduled to end on January 1.

The new notification says that children should be allowed back only after lunch after conducting at least some small program. If it ends before noon, the camp should be held for one more day (second date). Compliance with this should be checked at cluster level.

One is the Principal, Headmaster, PTA who do not leave the school premises. NSS said to send phone number of president and ward member and talk to them. Officials say.

School activities will not be affected

The camp on January 1 will be arranged so as not to affect the functioning of schools. NSS said that the camp should be closed by holding a closing meeting at 3 o’clock. State leadership’s suggestion.
