They collided with a moose and escaped unharmed.

The accident happened on Christmas Day when Tyrväinen and his girlfriend were on their way home from Oulu, where they had celebrated Christmas.
On the E4 between Haparanda and Sangis, a moose ran onto the road and the girlfriend, who was driving, could not do anything.
Called 112 immediately
The moose died instantly, but Tyrväinen and his girlfriend survived without a scratch.
– The accident was bad luck in itself, but we also had a lot of speed. There were people there who knew what to do, who called 112 and hunters immediately. So everything went smoothly and it could have gone a lot worse. We have to be positive that we didn’t have to go to the hospital at all. The hunter said it too: Usually when he gets that call, someone has died or needs an ambulance. We were really lucky, he says to the local newspaper NSD.

“Life goes on”
Swedens radio was the first to report the incident.
Tyrväinen says that the shock has now subsided and that they are grateful that they escaped unharmed.
– We are alive and must try to stay positive. Life goes on and we didn’t even get any minor injuries. No broken bones or anything. I’d say both are fine in their heads as well and just trying to move on with life positively even after this crash
