“I was very busy and didn’t want to do it. They were very nice, but most importantly, they were persistent,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform. “I agreed and the rest is history! The popularity of this little episode took off like a rocket and the movie was a big success, especially during Christmas,” said Trump. “People call me every time it’s on TV.”
“If they felt I was forcing something on them, didn’t they want me, why did they put me in, leave me there for over 30 years? Because I was, I’m still great for this movie, that’s why!”
