As a result of a missile attack on Lvov on December 29, famous Ukrainian basketball player Viktor Kobzysty was killed.

Nikulin’s direct speech: “During the shelling of our city by Russian missiles, Viktor Kobzysty, a Ukrainian basketball player, coach, international-class master of sports of Ukraine, died.”
Details: Kobzysty’s death was confirmed by FBU President Mikhail Brodsky.
For reference: Kobzysty played for the Ukrainian national team at the European Championships in 2001 and 2005. He also played for Dnepr, Budivelnik and Azovmash. He retired from playing in 2011. He was the head coach of the women’s Dynamo.
