winter full of love Amy-Rose, one of Saul’s dates in Winter full of love, could not hold back her tears in Thursday evening’s episode. Just as Saul was about to go on a date with newcomer Kelsey, Amy-Rose forced a private conversation with him. “I just don’t know where you stand and how you feel about me.”
20-year-old Amy-Rose arrived first in Switzerland, hoping to win Saul’s heart. That seems to be working out quite well so far, because the two quickly turned out to have a good connection and even exchanged a first kiss.
In the meantime, Jessie moved to Switzerland, but that adventure soon came to an end. In fits and starts, Saul told her that he and Amy-Rose had been intimate and that there was ‘a block in his head’ that was preventing him from opening up to Jessie. She therefore chose not to wait any longer and to pack her suitcases. “If Saul chooses Amy-Rose, we are not a match anyway,” she said after the rejection.
Amy-Rose was happy with Jessie’s departure, but that joy was only for a moment. Within no time, Kelsey was already at the door, who also wanted to find out whether something could blossom between her and Saul. While the three visited a lunch spot in the afternoon, a romantic dinner was planned for Saul and Kelsey later that day. So without Amy-Rose. And that really stung her.
Caught off guard
Just as Saul and Kelsey were about to get into the cab, Amy-Rose pushed herself forward. “Do you have five minutes or do you really have to leave now?” she asked Saul. He looked up in slight surprise, said that the taxi was already at the door, but eventually allowed himself to be taken for a private conversation in Amy-Rose’s bedroom.
“I find today a bit strange, even after yesterday. We just chill together,” Amy-Rose began her story, stating that she felt ‘overwhelmed’ by Kelsey’s ‘busyness’. But something else was bothering Amy-Rose: what did Saul actually feel for her? “She’s a sweet girl and I don’t know how you feel about me. How you think about me or her now..”
Before Saul could even answer that question, Amy-Rose made it clear to him that she did not want to be used. Saul believed that it is important ‘to continue to communicate openly’ and that his feelings would not simply disappear. “So you don’t have to worry,” he promised her.
Saul’s comforting words did Amy-Rose good, although she was unable to control her emotions after the conversation. “It’s not that I feel bad about him. I’m actually relieved, that’s why I have to cry. I’m happy,” Amy-Rose sobbed in front of the cameras. She confessed that the whole adventure is a big ‘mind fuck’. “It’s just really a rollercoaster.”
