During an ordinary day, a vehicle crashed into unsuspecting people. The incident took place in the English city of Sheffield on December 27 at around 14:00 local time. It informs about it Daily Star. One man (46) lost his life on the spot, while many other participants in the accident suffered injuries of greater or lesser extent. Another man was taken to hospital in serious condition.

The crash took place in the Burngreave district, which lies north of the city centre. Security forces were called to College Close. “When the car was passing by a group of people, the driver apparently lost control and rammed directly into it,” specified the spokesman of the South Yorkshire Police, saying that the case is under investigation. Police closed Scott Road in both directions.
Detained persons
Law enforcement officers arrested the driver (23) on the spot, who is suspected of murder. Another man (55) was sitting next to him in the passenger seat. He was also taken to a pre-trial detention cell. He is suspected of attempted murder.
Investigator Andrew Knowles told the media that the police secured the scene of the accident. “There will now be an investigation from industrial cameras. We sympathize with all those affected and understand the grief they have to deal with. We offer help to anyone concerned.” he added, saying that the investigation is continuing from house to house.
