Rafael Santos Díaz, eldest son of the late singer Diomedes Díaz, announced through his social networks that he is preparing a collaboration with his colleague Silvestre Dangond.
This was made known through a publication of a photograph on his Instagram account in which he is seen making a video call with the interpreter of ‘Your suitor’.
“Positive projects are coming. For this 2024 we will sing together with my friend Silvestre Dangond for the first time to enhance our vallenato folklore”wrote Rafael Santos.
The news went down very well among vallenato lovers, who praised the talent of both artists and their human qualities, which is why they predict that the song will be a success.
Although few details of the collaboration are known, some claim that the accordion player who would be accompanying Silvestre and Rafael Santos would be Jimmy Zambrano. Silvestre Dangond continues promoting his album ‘Ta Malo’ and developing his tour in several cities in Colombia. He will start 2024 performing in Santa Marta, Magdalena, on January 6.
