Diaa Rashwan added in a statement that this framework was formulated after Egypt listened to the views of all parties concerned with this framework, adding that the proposal includes 3 successive stages that are linked together, ending with a ceasefire and that everything related to the issue of the Palestinian government is a Palestinian issue. Purely, it is a subject of discussion between all Palestinian parties.
He pointed out that Egypt confirms that it has not yet received any responses to the proposed framework from any of the concerned parties, continuing: “Finally, when responses are received from the concerned parties, the proposal will be developed in detail, and it will be announced in full to Egyptian, Arab and international public opinion.”
The Chief Information Officer called on all media outlets to be precise in dealing with everything related to this Egyptian proposal, and to return to official Egyptian sources for clarification of everything new.
