The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed the death toll of 50 and dozens of injuries, and the number is likely to increase as a result of the Israeli occupation’s bombing of citizens’ homes in Beit Lahia, Khan Yunis, and Al-Maghazi on Thursday morning. This came in a brief press statement by Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, the official spokesman for Palestinian Health in Gaza.
Palestinian press sources confirmed that more than 70 Palestinians were martyred during the past 12 hours, in a violent aerial bombardment by Israeli warplanes in the northern, central and southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources indicated that 30 Palestinian citizens were martyred in the Israeli occupation’s bombing of several homes belonging to the families of Khair al-Din, al-Kurd, and al-Qadi in the Beit Lahia project in northern Gaza.
The sources explained that more than 38 martyrs were killed in the Israeli occupation attacks on the city of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.
The sources pointed out that two journalists were martyred: the colleague, photographer at Al-Quds Al-Youm channel, Ahmed Maher Khair Al-Din, in the targeting of his family home in the Beit Lahia project, and the journalist at Al-Aqsa Channel, Muhammad Khair Al-Din.
