Dr. Sahar El-Damaty, a banking expert, revealed the truth and details of the “InstaPay” application imposing fees on money transfers starting next year.
She added, during a phone call to the Tahrir Lounge program broadcast on Sada El Balad channel, on Wednesday, that no official decision has been issued related to imposing fees on transfers yet, pointing out that at the same time the application is expected to impose fees as of the beginning of next year.
Al-Damaty explained that if the fees on transfers are announced, they will aim to cover the volume of huge transfers and accommodate the largest possible number of customers, whose number reaches 37 million customers in the banking sector, stressing that the “InstaPay” service has met with great success because it saves time and effort.
