Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine now available at Farmacias del Ahorro branches in Ciudad Juárez and Chihuahua

The Covid-19 vaccine is available in four branches of one of the pharmacy chains that have adjacent offices.

Brenda Ileana Arellano Rodríguez, from the Marketing Area of ​​Farmacias del Ahorro, reported that the Pfizer biological has a cost of 799 pesos, and can be applied to people from 12 years of age onwards.

The injection is now available in the branches located on Adolfo López Mateos Avenue, Paseo Triunfo de la República, National and Technological Army, added Arellano Rodríguez.

To access the vaccine you must be seen by the doctor found in each company extension, or you can request an appointment through the application, he noted.

“To get the vaccine you can go to the doctor, as well as make an appointment through the pharmacy application, the vaccine has the same effectiveness as those that have been applied,” added the interviewee.

The commercial pharmacy chain has 22 branches in Ciudad Juárez, so it is analyzing opening other points where Pfizer can be applied, indicated the interviewee.

It was in the month of September that the president of the republic Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced that vaccines against the SARS-COV-2 virus would be available before the end of 2023.

On December 12, the Federal Commission for Protection against Risks (Cofespris) authorized the updated version.

Although the reception of the biological began last weekend, there is still little influx of interested customers, this may be because people already have three vaccines against the SARS-COV-2 virus, or because during the Christmas season People are focused on organizing the parties, added Arellano Rodríguez.
