Presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo became the first presidential candidate to be received by Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, after visiting the Wilis Building, Kepatihan Jalan Suryataman, Yoygakarta. Presidential candidate number 3 arrived at around 16.05 and was immediately greeted by Sri Sultan and invited to enter one of the rooms.
The two of them had a one-on-one conversation for two hours. On that occasion, Ganjar wore batik with a picture of a wayang character, similar to Krishna.
Krishna himself is known as a supporting figure and protector of figures who have true, primary and just characteristics, namely the Pandavas. He is also the figure of the guardian and preserver of the universe.
At 18.05, both Ganjar and Sri Sultan left the building and met the media crew who were waiting in the yard. Ganjar said that he had promised and scheduled a visit with Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono
“I’m from Solo. At the event here, I promised him that I would have a chance to meet again today,” said Ganjar, Wednesday (27/12/2023).
For two hours, Ganjar revealed that he had discussed many things with Sri Sultan. Starting from the development of the nation and state, it also concerns maintaining conduciveness entering the 2024 election year.
“We talked about a lot of things. About the development of the nation and state, I went to school here, I’ve been here for a long time, the elders have a lot of advice. Today’s conditions that we need to maintain conduciveness are basically that,” he explained.
When asked about support and blessings, the former Governor of Central Java for two terms admitted that he hoped for support from all the people of Yogyakarta.
“Yes, we met with the elders and asked for blessings. Hopefully they will be blessed for the safety of this nation. For all the people of Yogyakarta, we ask for their support,” he continued.
Meanwhile, Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X said that Ganjar’s arrival had been planned for a long time and only today was it realized. And, he confirmed that Ganjar was the first 2024 presidential candidate to meet him.
“Yes, Ganjar wants to meet, I accept, I’ve known him for a long time. Just chat,” he said.
