Sandiaga Uno as Chair of the National Winning Team (TPN) Expert Council Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud Md said presidential candidate number 3 would master the theme of the third presidential election debate. The debates specifically for the presidential candidates will be about defense, security, international relations and geopolitics.
“Yes, the presidential candidate debate is interesting because the issue is geopolitics, the issue is also defense, coincidentally Pak Ganjar and Prof Mahfud are very knowledgeable in these two main fields,” said Sandiaga to journalists at TMII, East Jakarta, Tuesday (26/12/2023).
The third presidential election debate will be held on January 7 2024. The parties clashing ideas are the presidential candidates. Sandiaga said that the most important thing in conveying ideas must be on the side of the people. He brought up how the geopolitical situation should not complicate people’s needs.
“I want to convey that Mr. Ganjar and Prof. Mahfud must highlight that in these first issues what comes first are the interests of the Indonesian people, especially economic issues in accordance with article 33 where we must be able to fight, for the little people,” he said.
He said that in the midst of geopolitical forces, Indonesian society would still have stability in all fields. He emphasized that a program must support small communities.
“Where Mr. Ganjar and Prof. Mahfud will continue development under Mr. Jokowi’s era, of course with more support for small communities, the little people, which we must prioritize,” he concluded.
