The crime of assaulting public funds, public property, and public rights
Jumada al-Akhir 16, 1445 AH – December 29, 2023 AD
The topic
Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, who says in His Noble Book: Say: The evil and the good are not equal, even if the abundance of the evil pleases you. So fear God, O men of understanding. That you may succeed, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that our master and prophet Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, O God, bless May peace and blessings be upon him and his family and companions and those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment, and after…
There is no doubt that public money, public ownership, and public rights are the pillars of building nations and homelands. That is why our true religion stressed the prohibition of attacking any of them, as our true religion forbade consuming people’s wealth unjustly. The Truth, Glory be to Him, says: O you who Believe, and do not consume your property among yourselves unjustly, unless it is trade by your mutual consent, and do not kill yourselves. Indeed, God is merciful to you. * And whoever does that out of aggression and injustice – We will send him into the Fire, and that is easy for God. l, and our Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, says: (Every meat that grows from unlawful things, the Fire is more deserving of it.)
Since public money, public property, and public rights are related to broad rights,
We must preserve it, protect it, and work to grow and develop it, for the trust in it is greater, the responsibility for it is greater, and its prohibition is more severe. Then, a crime and a danger related to the sanctity of private money, private property, and private rights; Due to the large number of debts related to public rights.
Our holy religion has warned against aggression against money in general, as the Truth, Glory be to Him, says: And whoever commits fraud will bring what he has committed on the Day of Resurrection, then he dies as To a soul is what it has earned, and they will not be wronged. And our Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, says: (Indeed, there are men who engage in the wealth of God without right – for them is the Fire. On the Day of Resurrection, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, says: (Every body that has grown from impurities, then Hell will be more worthy of it.)
Islam stresses aggression against the property of others, whether it is public or private, as our Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, says: (Whoever unjustly cuts off an inch of land, God will surround him. On the Day of Resurrection, he will be among the seven earths. Our master Abdullah bin Masoud, may God be pleased with him, asked our Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Which injustice is more unfair? He, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “An arm of the earth is deprived by a Muslim of his brother’s rights. There is not a pebble from the earth that anyone takes but will be surrounded by it on the Day of Resurrection.” It reaches the bottom of the earth, and no one knows its bottom except God Almighty, the Most High, who created it.)
Among the public rights that must be preserved and used rationally are the public facilities that the state is building and developing.
This is a legal, national and humanitarian duty, as our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says:
(No harm or harm), and it is an obligation that does not stop at the limits of preserving it only, but extends to working to maximize it and contribute to its development. Then our Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: (Seven will be rewarded for a servant while he is in his grave after his death – whoever teaches knowledge, or digs a river, Or he dug a well, or planted palm trees, or built a mosque, or inherited a Qur’an, or left a son for whom forgiveness must be sought after his death).
Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may blessings and peace be upon the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, our Master Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and upon all his family and companions.
One of the forms of assault on public property is the infringement on endowment money, which is the money of God Almighty, and the right of the entire society, and it also has a major role in… Developing society in many social fields, serving the Holy Qur’an, contributing to the architecture of mosques, and building schools and hospitals. mortality, and treatment of patients And taking care of the needy, including the poor, orphans, and families most in need of care. Therefore, it must be preserved, developed, and invested in, and it is forbidden to eat it. Or wasting it, or circumventing it with any trick to make it permissible, attacking it, or facilitating its seizure.
This is a great sin and a great crime that turns the life of the attacker into hell in this world and the hereafter.
His supplication will not be accepted, nor will he be blessed with wealth or children, as our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned:
(A man who travels for a long time, disheveled and dusty, extends his hands to the sky: O Lord, O Lord, and his food is forbidden, and his drink is forbidden, and his earnings are forbidden, and he feeds on what is forbidden, so how can he Will you respond to that?), So what about the one he assaults?! In addition to the bad consequences awaiting the person who is assaulted or the person who commits public money on the Day of Resurrection.
How much we need to preserve public money, public property, and public rights, given our awareness of the prohibition of trespassing on public money in general, and money entrusted to God, peace be upon him. He is glorified and exalted in a special capacity.
Oh God, protect our Egypt and raise its flag in the worlds.
