Dynamo Kyiv Ultras Support Dynamo Zagreb Colleagues Amid Greek Prison Release

The ultras of Dynamo Kyiv, who are now part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine defending the eastern and southern borders of Ukraine from the treacherous invasion of Russian occupation forces, do not forget about football matters.

The day before, a photograph appeared online showing mortar shells with inscriptions of support from the Dynamo Kiev ultras towards their colleagues from Zagreb: “Welcome Home”, “Bad Blue Boys”, “Dynamo Kyiv Dinamo Zagreb”, “Welcome Back Dragan”.

Thus, the fans of the Kyiv club supported their Croatian colleagues, who were recently released from a Greek prison, where they spent several months due to participation in riots before the match against AEK in August this year, which was supposed to take place as part of the Champions League qualification.

Then in Greece, the police detained more than a hundred fans of Dynamo Zagreb, who were suspected of the death of Greek fan Michalis Katsouris. However, the investigation established that Katsouris was killed by a fellow fan of the Athens club during the massacre between AEK and Dynamo fans. After this, the Croatian fans were released, having the opportunity to return to their homeland.
