FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The Anies-Muhaimin National Legal Team (AMIN) has officially recorded and reported a series of alleged election violations to the authorities, with the hope that immediate action will be taken to maintain public trust.
“We have recorded all the lists of violations, and we have made reports to the relevant agencies,” said Ari Yusuf Amir, General Chair of the AMIN National Legal Team, at a press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday, (26/12/2023).
Ari explained that the legal team had identified alleged election violations, such as money politics, distribution of prohibited items, and other violations, and had reported them to the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) and other law enforcers.
With confidence, Ari stated that a number of alleged election violations would be submitted to the authorities at the end of this year, while a number of cases had already been disclosed.
The hope is that the reports that have been submitted will be immediately followed up by the authorities, with the aim of building public trust in the authorities.
“We have reported to Bawaslu regarding money politics. However, we hope that all officials, both law enforcers and election organizers, will act fairly by accepting these reports,” he said.
Ari emphasized that any rejection of the report must be accompanied by clear reasons, and responses to the report must be announced transparently to the public.
He also invited all AMIN volunteers to directly document campaign violations with photos or videos using available devices, so that they can be used as strong evidence.
