A man who brought his mother-in-law home in Breda on Monday evening found a strange man in her living room. The man appeared to have eaten something, but not to have stolen anything.
The man and his mother-in-law saw the man sitting in a chair and pressed an alarm button, the police reported on Tuesday. A security guard and the son-in-law then held the intruder until police arrived.
According to officers, it concerns a man known to the police “who wanders through the city” and has been arrested several times. It’s not clear how he got in.
