An agent for Caio Paulista said, in an email exchange in November with the São Paulo board to which the column had access, that he would get Fluminense to agree to payment in installments for the purchase of the left-back.
“We will get Fluminense to agree to split the price already adjusted for the transfer into four installments, to be paid in February and August 2024 and 2025”, said Alexandre Uram, one of Caio Paulista’s businessmen.
In the email, the businessman also says that the full-back “is very happy at São Paulo and has the greatest interest in remaining permanently at the club, under the conditions we mentioned in the previous email.”
