FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR — Early this morning, a private campus on Jl Perintis Independen, Tamalanrea District, Makassar, was the target of an attack by an unknown person (OTK).
The incident left serious damage, especially to one of the rooms, documentation of which can be seen in photos received by dawn.co.id.
The room’s green window glass was shattered into pieces and scattered on the floor, illustrating the intensity of the attack involving destructive actions.
This incident caused concern and confusion in the campus environment and received attention from various parties.
This incident raises a big question mark regarding the motive behind the OTK attack and its impact on campus activities.
Head of BEM, Faculty of Engineering, Astullah Jaya, said that the attack occurred while students were busy taking care of department deliberations.
“There was only one department that had a deliberation at the Faculty. In the middle of this deliberation suddenly someone started fishing,” Astullah began his story when contacted by media crew, Monday (25/12/2023) evening.
Astullah said, the OTKs circled the faculty several times on motorbikes. However, the children who were currently deliberating ignored this.
“Several times he went around the faculty, gassing motorbikes. Only the children ignored him until the third time, maybe he came, he stopped in front of the faculty. Gassing again, not long after, he joined the crowd from behind, immediately attacking suddenly,” he continued.
