NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Blackwell: Expected Launch in Q4 2024

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Blackwell the next generation should debut towards the end of 2024, as reported by Moore’s Law is Dead channel.

The launch is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024. This is easy to predict since each generation of GeForce RTX is typically on the market for 2 years, with the Ada Lovelace RTX 40 series debuting in Q4 2022 (October 2022) and the Ampere RTX 30 series debuting in end of the third quarter of 2020 (September 2020).

It’s been suggested that Blackwell cards will bring even smaller performance gains than the current ones, as the current RTX 40 itself has become faster compared to the RTX 30. Because AI GPUs outperform gaming GPUs by a factor of 5 to 1 in terms of revenue, and AMD is rumored to be leaving the top segment for its next generation RDNA4 line, and NVIDIA itself is not trying very hard.

NVIDIA’s 2024 roadmap calls for the RTX 40-series SUPER to debut in the first quarter, with three high-end models updating the top of the RTX 40-series.
