Thiruvananthapuram – The opposition is mocking the state government for alleging that a person who sought a loan waiver of four lakh rupees was reduced by Rs 515 in the Nava Kerala assembly.
An application was filed in the New Kerala court seeking relief in the dues of the Co-operative Bank in Kannur. In this, the maximum concession was given, Rs 515 was reduced and the complaint was settled. The reply was given by the General Joint Registrar, District Co-operative Society. Youth Congress state president Rahul Mangkoothil and KPCC vice president VT Balram came out with ridicule through social media.
Rahul Mankoothil’s sarcasm was that he wanted to buy a flat and a car with the discounted money. Balram’s post asked if he was happy that the permit was relaxed in the Chief Minister’s own district.
From Rahul Mankootil’s note:
515 rupees was given to the applicant who was given loan waiver of 3, 97, 731 rupees in the luxury meeting of the Chief Minister.
Auto fare to go to audience : 150
Photostat of applications : 50
After waiting till noon, tea and bite : 30
Bottled water: 15
Total : 245
Profit: 270/-
I should also buy a flat and a car with that money.
From Balram’s note:
Anyway, Hon. Wasn’t it said through the Chief Minister’s New Kerala audience? Not his own district. So the bank has decided to give maximum concessions to you.
How much Rs discount? A discount of 515 rupees! Aren’t you happy? Is it enough to pay the remaining 3,97,216 rupees?
