Three people were injured this afternoon in a collision between two cars at the intersection of Haarlemmerweg and Burgemeester De Vlugtlaan in Nieuw-West. One of the cars ended up upside down during the collision.

Both cars collided around 4:30 p.m. Several ambulances, fire trucks and a Mobile Medical Trauma Team (MMT) arrived on the scene. Nothing is known about the exact injuries of the victims, but all three were taken to hospital by ambulance personnel.
A police spokesperson said that the police Traffic Accident Analysis (VOA) will investigate how the accident could have happened.
