A fire broke out in Izumi City early on the 25th, and a house and store was completely destroyed, and the bodies of two people were found in the ruins. We are currently unable to contact the couple who live in this house.
According to the Izumi Police Station, just after 5:30 a.m. on the 25th, a resident of Shimona, Noda-cho, Izumi City called 119 and said, “Flames can be seen from the direction of Nodago Station.”
The fire was extinguished after about two and a half hours, but the fire completely destroyed an area of approximately 140 square meters of a two-story wooden house/store owned by merchant Hidetaka Kinoshita (87), and two bodies were found in the burnt ruins. I did.
Mr. Kinoshita lives with his wife, who is in her 70s, and is currently unable to contact them. The fire also destroyed an adjacent warehouse and part of a vacant reinforced concrete store.
