The arrested 20-year-old lives in the house where the 50-year-old was found lying helpless in the courtyard. The 20-year-old was taken away wearing an all-over white coverall of the type crime scene technicians use to avoid contaminating a discovery site.
The 50-year-old was found by a taxi driver who had been ordered to the address. When the passenger did not appear, the driver got out and found the 50-year-old lying unconscious outside the house. Task manager Håkon Jørgensen tells NRK.
The 50-year-old was still unconscious when he was taken in an ambulance to St. Olav’s hospital.

Crime technicians from the police arrived at the scene at 12.45 to look for technical clues outside and inside the house.
According to task leader Jørgensen, the traces indicate that the violence was inflicted on the 50-year-old outside the house. The police do not suspect that any specific object was used in the violence.
