During the holidays, children need to be reminded of the Rules of the Road | Society

With the start of school holidays, law enforcement officers have recorded an increase in incidents involving minors on roads, near water bodies, on playgrounds and in courtyards.

According to Ministry of Internal Affairsparents should constantly remind their children of the rules of safe behavior.

As practice shows, during this period many children spend significant time without adult supervision.

It is important to explain the need to comply with traffic rules, tell them that sledding and tubing can only be done from specially equipped slides, and discuss the consequences of going out on the ice. Games and pampering at railway transport facilities and the use of pyrotechnic products are also associated with a high risk.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded that administrative liability is provided for the use of firecrackers and fireworks that violate public order. Children under 16 years of age are not allowed to be outside their home at night without parental accompaniment.

To teach a child correct and safe behavior, you need to set an appropriate example yourself.

During the winter holidays, internal affairs officers will carry out a set of measures aimed at preventing offenses by minors and emergency incidents involving them.
