Details: It is reported that about 30 people were detained at night for rioting in front of Belgrade City Hall. Several police officers guarding the parliamentary campus were injured.

At the same time, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic made a speech saying he had “strong evidence” that Sunday’s events were prepared in advance.

According to him, in the evening two police officers were seriously injured, and several others had minor injuries.

“The state will react. I am convinced that the prosecutor’s office and the competent state bodies will react,” Vucic said.

He added that the intelligence services fully predicted the events of Sunday night.

“Tonight there was an attempt to forcefully seize the institutions of the state of Serbia, let’s see how the prosecutor’s office classifies this. Arrests of bandits and bandits continue throughout the city,” he said.

What preceded: Thousands of people rallied in central Belgrade for an anti-government protest on Sunday, demanding the results of parliamentary and local elections be overturned. The crowd tried to break through to Belgrade City Hall, where the local election commission is located. Some of the protesters climbed the building and broke windows.
