MINISTRY
Regarding how to move forward in the recognition of complementary therapies by the Ministry of Health, Cecilia expressed that for some time now steps have been taken to make this happen, as it would allow patients to access reimbursement for care and, therefore, In this way, the number of people admitted to this type of treatment could increase. “There are two institutions that address this issue and that have held meetings with the Ministry of Health to advance the validation of complementary therapies and thus extend them to more people,” she concluded.
