On the YouTube channel of the editor-in-chief of the publication “GORDON” Alesya Batsman it turned out interview with the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2006–2010, retired Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko.

During the interview, Romanenko said:

  • about The Wall Street Journal’s investigation that the murder of Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin was organized by Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, and the president of the aggressor country Vladimir Putin “did not object”;

Romanenko was born in 1953 in the Chernigov region. He studied at the Minsk Higher Engineering Anti-Aircraft Missile School of Air Defense, the Zhukov Military Air Defense Academy, the Academy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Kiev National Shevchenko University.

The total length of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the former USSR is 40 years; he has served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 1991. He held his last positions in the Air Defense Forces and the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from 2006 to December 2010 he served as Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
