Besides doing a good job of resolving cases, the Courts also focus on implementing the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress; continue to implement new judicial laws such as the Law on Conciliation and dialogue at Court; Organizing the implementation of the National Assembly’s Resolution on organizing online court sessions… achieving many good results.

The President requested Party Committees and Court leaders at all levels to focus on promoting judicial reform, ensuring the independence of courts according to their jurisdiction; judges and jurors judge independently and only obey law; essentially ensuring the independence of the two levels of adjudication.

Pay attention to and effectively implement the recovery of assets of organizations and individuals that are appropriated, lost or damaged. Further improve the efficiency of resolving civil and administrative cases and cases, and have solutions to thoroughly overcome the shortcomings and limitations that have been pointed out; Do a good job of researching, selecting and developing case law in resolving administrative cases.

The quality of the trial is guaranteed, the rate of judgments and decisions canceled or amended due to subjective reasons reaches 0.89%, meeting the requirements set out by the National Assembly Resolution.

Tried 94,161 criminal cases with a total of 176,040 defendants, reaching 98% of the number of cases and 96.35% of the number of defendants, exceeding the target assigned by the National Assembly Resolution by 10%.

Resolved 408,070 civil cases out of a total of 468,828 cases handled, reaching a rate of 87.04%, exceeding the target set by the National Assembly by 9.04%. 80,490 cases have been mediated, reaching a rate of 20.7%, contributing to quickly resolving disputes and strengthening solidarity among the People.

The work of resolving Administrative cases has been enhanced. Although the number of Administrative cases accepted increased by 416 cases compared to 2022, the Courts have resolved 9,130/12,162 cases; reaching a rate of 75.07%, exceeding the target set by the National Assembly by 15.07% and increasing by 2.47% compared to the previous year. As of September 30, 2023, there is no case that has exceeded the prescribed resolution deadline…
