Nastya Ivleeva to Donate Money Raised from Scandalous Party to Charity, Amid Outrage and Legal Action

Blogger and TV presenter Nastya Ivleeva said that she would donate to charitable organizations all the money raised from the sale of tickets for the second day of the party at the Moscow club “Mutabor”, where the dress code was almost naked. About it it says in the video recorded by Ivleeva.

She apologized for the videos from the party that were circulated.

According to Ivleeva, who was the organizer of the party, the event was dedicated to the presentation of photographs that could not be published in Playboy magazine after the publication left Russia. She noted that rapper Vacio (Nikolai Vasiliev), who came to the party wearing only sneakers and a sock pulled over his genitals, was warned that “it would be unacceptable to go to a closed event in this form, but he decided to take responsibility into his own hands and test fate, shocking the audience.”

“Was it inappropriate to shoot a video that was all over the press? Distribute it and replicate it like that? Yes, 100% it was extremely inappropriate. I’m sorry that this happened and that it was beyond our control. The risk that someone would behave this way was not taken into account when planning the event. For this I apologize to everyone. In front of society and in front of their guests, who unwittingly became participants in everything that was happening in the media. I am fully and fully aware of my responsibility for what happened,” Ivleeva said.

She noted that she decided to send the money to charity “not as an act of good deeds or for the sake of justification,” but because “this is the only possible development of events in this vein.”

The party at the Moscow club “Mutabor” took place on December 20 and 21. After photos and videos from the event appeared on social networks, pro-government activists, who were outraged by the holding of such an event during the war in Ukraine, complained about the organizers and participants of the party to the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Roskomnadzor said it found “signs of LGBT propaganda” in some photographs and videos.

On December 22, the Lefortovo District Court arrested rapper Vacio for 15 days under an administrative article of petty hooliganism. In addition, a report was drawn up against him under the article on “LGBT propaganda” (Part 3 of Article 6.21 of the Administrative Code). After his arrest, the rapper recorded a video in which apologized for attending the party. He stated that he “does not support LGBT people in any way and did not want any propaganda.”
