What is SantaCon?
SantaCon NYC (Santa-Claus Convention) is the largest annual gathering of Santas in New York but also in other major cities around the world. Nearly 30,000 participants come from all over the city dressed as Santa Claus and other Christmas characters (elves, reindeer, etc.) and embark on a huge pub crawl.
Created in San Francisco in 1974, SantaCon has become over the years a charity event.
The concept is quite simple: you make a donation, you dress up and you drink. Money raised from donations is shared between this year’s chosen charities and participating bars.
This year, the event will take place on December 9, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m..

For more information, visit the site SANTACON.NYC et confirm your presence on Facebook. You can also make a donation to the charities associated with the event. Most establishments are free, with no entry fees. Only special venues require a $15 donation (tax deductible), as they are larger and offer additional benefits such as a DJ, sublime decorations, entertainment etc.
