The suspect who slashed her husband to death on the spot at home is Ms. Nguyen Thi Hao (born 1969, Phuoc Tan village, Tan Hoa commune, Phu My town, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province). The victim is Mr. BVM (born 1958, husband of Ms. Hao).

At this time, Mr. M and Mrs. Hao fought with their hands in front of the house. During the fight, Ms. Hao saw a knife (size 45cm x 7.5cm) on a concrete shelf nearby so she slashed Mr. M’s head several times.
After that, Ms. Hao continued to use the knife to slash many times, leaving Mr. M lying motionless on the spot.

At about 10:45 a.m. on the same day, Mr. M and Mrs. Hao’s son-in-law went home and saw Mrs. Hao standing next to Mr. M. Mr. M was lying barely alive, so he shouted to everyone around and reported it to the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, Phu My Town Police coordinated with professional units of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Provincial Police to organize scene protection, scene examination, and corpses for investigation.

Initial autopsy results determined that Mr. M died at the scene, the cause of death was multiple injuries, jugular vein rupture, traumatic brain injury, and acute blood loss.
Currently, the case is continuing to be investigated.
