The new Toyota Land Cruiser 250 is a cheaper version of the full-size LC 300 SUV, which replaced the Prado. The first copies of the model caused a stir on the market, although only recently the manufacturer began accepting orders.
Po information Carscoops, the first batch of 1,000 cars for the German market was sold out 30 minutes after the start of accepting applications. Now those wishing to buy a Toyota Land Cruiser 250 must sign up on the waiting list.
At the same time, the first buyers will receive their cars no earlier than the third quarter of 2024. In total, 3,000 SUVs of the First Edition modification were allocated for the European region.
The design is made in retro style – a very fashionable solution in the segment of modern SUVs. The appearance refers to Toyota models of the 80s. The silhouette is straight, the lines are simple, the appearance is assembled from large geometric elements.
Two power plants will be offered. A 2.8-liter diesel turbo engine and a 2.4-liter gasoline engine (as part of a hybrid with a capacity of 326 hp). The engines are combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The drive is always full.
