Eduardo Henrique is no longer a Sporting player. The news was reported by the Record newspaper and also confirmed by More football.
The 28-year-old Brazilian midfielder has been linked to Sporting since 2019, when the Lions signed him from Internacional de Porto Alegre and after a good season with B SAD.
In the first season he played 22 games, under the command of Marcel Keizer, Leonel Pontes, Silas and Ruben Amorim, but after that he was never used again, adding loans to the Italians of Crotone and the Saudis of Al Raed.
This and last season, Eduardo Henrique did not get a placement and trained at Sporting’s academy, but without being under the orders of Ruben Amorim.
The player had a contract with Sporting until the summer of 2024, and is now free to look for a club.
