Planned projects for the coming year are the kindergarten extension with 2 million euros, an additional payment for the purchase of a new fire engine in the amount of 125,000 euros, the training ground project with 300,000 euros, the remaining payment from the purchase of the “Christmas tree culture” property with 1,250,000 euros, the G- 21 Freiheitsplatz project with 100,000 euros, road and sidewalk construction with 424,000 euros, sewer renovation with 125,000 euros, the cost contribution to the ASZ Altlengbach and the switch to ELAK, the electronic file, including time recording with 50,000 euros each.
Debts are increasing
The estimate shows expenses of 9,460,800 euros compared to income of 10,558,100 euros. The debt level increases by 2.3 million euros to 7,927,900 euros. “Every third euro is invested in young people,” says ÖVP Mayor Georg Ockermüller happily. The Green local councilor Tristan Häußler once again criticized the purchase of the “Christmas tree culture” property, which had already been decided at the last local council meeting, because there are still no concrete plans for its use. For this reason, he abstained from voting on the resolution. “Purchasing land is an investment in the future. Land is important. The property offers many municipal opportunities,” emphasizes Mayor Georg Ockermüller.
Funding will be increased
Another decision that was unanimous was to increase the 2023 funding budget for energy and environmental funding by 5,000 euros. Subsequently, the environmental and energy subsidies for 2024 were also unanimously approved. The funding for the area of heating replacement and thermal renovations was extended. Despite the constant increase in PV systems, we are still waiting for federal funding to determine the level of funding.
