Johanna Bundsen, 32, has done her part in Sävehof after the season.
The Swedish handball goalkeeper leaves for German SG BBM Bietigheim.
– I look forward to taking the next step, she says.
Bundsen has signed a two-year contract with the club that tops the German top flight. She joins after the current season.
– I am really looking forward to experiencing a new adventure with Bietigheim and taking the next step in my career. It is a team that plays in the Champions League, has great ambitions and is always playing for titles. It was something that attracted and it was a project I couldn’t say no to, she tells the German club’s website.

“Want to thank”
It is the second time Bundsen has gone abroad. She returned to Sävehof in 2022 after five seasons in Copenhagen.
– I want to thank Sävehof for another two very good years. I have had the opportunity to develop both as a player and as a person. A fantastic club that is close to my heart, she says to Sävehof’s website.
Johanna Bundsen was one of Sweden’s best players in the WC that ended last week. Sweden finished fourth after losing the bronze medal match against Denmark.
