On Thursday, US President Joe Biden (81) posted a post on X/Twitter, where he writes that Donald Trump (77) poses a threat to the country in many areas – the biggest of which is democracy.
“If we lose it, we lose everything,” concludes the sitting US president.
Under the post, the 81-year-old has received several responses, but it is probably the comment of the American actor John Schneider (63) that causes the most to react.

“Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and that you should be publicly hanged. Your son too. Your answer to that is?’, writes Schneider according to The Guardian.
The actor, who is probably best known from the TV series “Duke of Hazzard” and who recently secured second place in the American edition of “Maskorama”, has subsequently deleted the message.

Many still managed to catch the comment, and several thousand are said to have responded to the 63-year-old’s shock performance.
Among those responding to the statement is the investigative journalist Victoria Brownworth, who first corrects Schneider’s typographical errors before writing:

The Guardian further writes that “threats to harm the President of the United States” can, according to federal law, result in a fine and up to five years in prison.
Several users on X still believe that Schneider’s comment is not enough to be seen as a death threat.
In a statement to Deadline The “Smallville” star denies that he spoke for the execution of Biden.
– Tougher than I imagined
“I certainly did not suggest an act of violence, or threaten the President of the United States. It is my opinion, which I have a right to have, that some of our state leaders in Washington have lost their way, that corruption abounds both on the nation’s borders and abroad. Transparency, and holding people accountable, must happen if our republic is to survive. There is no threat in my statement”
The 63-year-old still felt compelled to give another statement in the case, as he continued to be confronted with what he actually wrote on X.

“Seriously guys? This is my last comment on this. I neither said nor implied any such thing. Despite the headlines that claim otherwise. In my post, I did not suggest any act of violence or threaten an American president as many other celebrities have done in the past. I suggest you re-read my actual post and note the words before you believe this nonsense,” Schneider raged.
– Changed the marriage
For the record, the actor wrote (verbatim) the following:
