Suárez left the Brazilian club Gremio earlier in December and after much speculation it is clear that the 36-year-old is going to the American MLS.
There he reunites with former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
“There is nothing more beautiful than playing with friends”, writes Inter Miami X.
During last season in Gremio, Suárez scored 26 goals and 17 assists in 53 games and was named the best player and best striker of the season in the Brazilian league.
Inter Miami is owned by Manchester United icon David Beckham.
– We are delighted to have a player of Luis’s quality and passion for the game join our club. He joins a team that inspires the next generation and we look forward to seeing him take to the pitch with both former teammates and young players from our academy,” Beckham told the club’s website.
