Dear Prime Minister, I hope you are in good health. You must be busy with many tasks. But I am writing this to bring to your attention what is happening to wrestlers in the country. Sanjay Singh defeated former Commonwealth Games gold medalist Anita Sheoran by 40 votes to seven in the WFI elections held in New Delhi on Thursday, December 21. After the elections were held for 15 posts including WFI president, treasurer, general secretary and senior vice president, protests are again taking place in Goda. Sheoren is from Haryana and contested from Odisha. With the win, Sheoran aimed to become the first female president of a national wrestling organization.
