PSP will use video surveillance to try to identify the suspect
A man was stabbed at Estádio da Luz during the game between Benfica and AVS, counting for the group stage of the League Cup.
According to CNN Portugal, the two had a disagreement in the room, with one of them striking the other with a knife.
The victim suffered a cut measuring just a few centimeters in his abdomen and was transported to Santa Maria Hospital, where he is being treated and is out of danger.
The PSP only learned of the situation later and was unable to identify the suspect.
PSP investigation teams will now use video surveillance images from the stadium to try to identify the suspect.
